so I can copy them

I want stylish

Its for my mum and by god I will not knit some saggy nylon crap with a dismal pompom.

her tea does get cold though

something you would be pleased and proud with if someone gave it to you for xmas

ps I can knit quite well so should be able to copy anything really

what about a felted one?

NotQuiteCockney · 17/11/2006 09:06

here is a pattern. Dunno if it's stylish, but it's "aromatherapy", so maybe? It is Canadian, though.

NotQuiteCockney · 17/11/2006 09:06

Oh, the knitty one is nicer than mine.

HowTheFillyjonkStoleChristmas · 17/11/2006 09:08

any pics before i put you to the trouble of emailing (though that would be fab. I am too stressed to wing it atm)

am evolving moss stitch/db maya + kidsilk hazz/velvet ribbon plan atm but actually would be fab to have a pattern...

Not elegant, but fun are this one and this one , but maybe not quite what you're after.

JackieNo · 19/11/2006 14:18

Some photos here on someone's blog - blimey this woman's creative - just scrolling down to the bottom, where the pic of the tea cosies is, I saw loads of things that I wished I could make.

JackieNo · 19/11/2006 14:24

Lovely colours on one on the bottom of this page .

Er yes - slightly ott, but in many ways an amazing picture, I thought (you could only really see the baby, couldn't you).

wow jackie, thanks so much!

wow

that has given me lots of inspiration

I especially like the last one. That was fab and actually, I think, quite straightforward. Something a bit fillyjonkian about it (I suppose it looked a bit like a snout)

now...why couldn't I find those? I did google.

Blimey, if you make ones like the Loop ones you can sell them for 70 quid

Miaou · 19/11/2006 19:01

What a fab blog Jackie! I have bookmarked it and will revisit, definitely! Beautiful kids she's got too
