Coast thing would make an ok present, yes. It has nice photos of, erm, the coast

I had the same 'blah' feeling when I saw the free gifts

tarantula · 17/11/2006 08:11

hte Journal is crap. Its a notebook with stupid pictures of Jamie in it. Just what I've alway not wanted. I didnt get a choice when I ordered ages ago.

Me too. I got the address book. Jamie's Journal - wtf?

HowTheFillyjonkStoleChristmas · 17/11/2006 08:29

but I mean...who, who is old enough to want an address book with pictures of a coast, doesn't have some sort of address book already?

its just odd

In fact it seems like a faintly insulting gift, tbh.

are they nice pictures? maybe I could just put them on my kitchen wall.

I agree. My dad might get mine - he's over 80 - but will he really copy out all the addresses into the new book If you spend over £45 quid with the current catalogue you can get free The Snowman gift wrap - marginally more useful. But then you're just bumping up your purchases to get some wrapping paper...

Actually so would I

I like "nice" photos

but I have about 7 address books, and anyway, everyone I want to talk to pretty much I email or phone (and the numbers are scribbled on my phone, no mobiles chez filly )

In the latest catalogue if you spend £5 extra so £45 you can get the Snowman gift wrap set (paper/bags/tags).
I got the red version last year (this years is white) and it was really good quality and proved much more useful than an extra stocking filler.

Oops Fauve sorry didn't see your post! I never struggle to add to my book people order, problem for me is keeping the order down!
