Have you got it near a radiator or draughty door. Some can be sensitive to the temperature around them and become overactive. Also make sure it is level.

Has the freezer door been shut properly all the time, nikki? With ours, sometimes it looks shut but the seal isn't tightly closed, so some warm air gets in and it ices up like mad.

Defrost it now and start again, but make sure the door is always pushed hard so that you can't open it without yanking.

If the seal is loose that might be the problem then nikki - if it happens again after you've defrosted it ring them up and play hell!
