salad/lettuce container for preserving lifespan

does anyone know what is the best product for storing lettuce to keep it longer, as if my husband sees another salad bag in the bin he'll go nuts with me!
do tupperware or lakeland do one?

Lakeland "stay fresh" bags? Very good for keeping dandelion leaves fresh for your tortoise according to the Lakeland "letters" bit of their website.

It's the salad bags that are the problem! The gas they are kept in in those pillow packs keeps them 'fresh' for days, and when you open them they wither to slime before your very eyes.
Buy those crunchy little gem hearts and other easy to use/not much washing salad veg instead?
