Age range for a Leapster

Does anyone know if the age range for a leapster is 4-8 or 4-10? I have heard both from friends but am unsure which is true, is the 4-10 a newer release???

I thought it was 4-7!! DD has had hers since she was 4 (is now 6) and to be honest doesnt use it much anymore, she prefers her barbie laptop which seems to be a bit more challenging. Ds (3) loves the leapster now though. Although perhaps it depends on the games you have for it?

My dd1is( very nearly) 7 and she still plays with hers, some of thegames are older than others not seen age 10 though

Some of the games are 6-8/10. My DD1 (6) uses hers a lot (when the batteries are charged!)
