You know those nasty nylon football shirts that you can personalise with your own name?

Where would one purchase said hideously static and crackly item? Is there a high street sports shop which does them or do you have to shop online?

Specifically Liverpool or England, for a 10 year old?

TIA

you can get them in most sports shops, i know JJB do them and can get letters added to the back for you

marthamoo! I was looking for you! Not "seen" you for ages, and was wondering how you are. Was in your neck of the woods last week, at the gigantic new soft play centre, and thought of you.

hijack over, threelittlebabies btw

Ds2 is having his birthday party there in December

No, I've been having a self-imposed break (hardly anyone noticed...) but, as wickedwaterwitch said "it's worse than crack, this place"

JJB will do it free I think, moo (and I did notice your re-absence ); Sports Soccer will charge you but their shirts are much much cheaper.

JanH · 14/11/2006 22:52

(And they're not nearly as nastily nylon as they used to be, if it helps)

threelittlebangers · 14/11/2006 22:53

I noticed!

Loved the soft play centre, v popular with the kids.

Posted on Stockport Meet up thread looking for you, we are meeting on 1st December, thought would ask on off chance you could make it x

I'll think about it, 3lb - are you going, Jan?

Oh, they might all be called Sports World now, not sure - they have huge out-of-town stores and smaller in town ones, but I think you'd only get the printing done in the huge ones.

However I just checked JJB and they are only charging c £10 for boys' England shirts, home (white) and away (red), online - if they are the same instore and you can get free printing at that price it's a big bargain. Liverpool are £30, home (red) and away (yellow).

Jan, you're a star - as ever Shall go to JJB tomorrow
