Maclaren Mac 3 3-wheeler

Hi, wonder if you can help

My friend is a childminder and needs a new 3 wheeler (she lives in the middle of nowhere) She has seen some second hand Maclaren Mac3 3-wheelers for a low price on eBay and wondered if anyone had anything good or bad to say about them.

She googled them and came across loads of customer complaints, but all from States, no product reviews found from British users (?)

So, I said I would ask on here for her.

So anyone, share your MAC3 horror stories, or tales of delight!!

The back wheels are very very wide. We had one for a day, then returned it, because it wouldn't fit through the entrance doors of our flat, and alot of shop doors. We also found that the brakes popped out every time the bus stopped/ started. They are lovely and smooth to push, but so artemany other buggies, without the problems of the Mac3.

she is very tall, so liked the Mac3 as it has a high handle...

I ilked the look of it because it was abit unusual. But actually, she's prob be alot better getting a second hand urban detour; they're cheap second hand, and alot more sturdy than the mac3. but someone will prob come along now and dispute this!!
