My parents are off to Denver on thurs and will be there till just after thanksgiving and will also celebrate mums birthday.

Me and sis would love to have a birthday gift delivered - it can be flowers or something a bit more extravagent but need to buy online from soemone in US who could guarantee delivery on the 20th Nov. (they are staying at a residential address if it makes any difference)

There are lots of online Interflora type places that will deliver, also Amazon.com will deliver and you can pay for it from the UK. They have a huge variety of things on their US site than you can't get on their UK site.

I am in Massachusetts so too far away to go gift shopping for you, unfortunately!

do you think I may have problems with the US amazon - there seems to be lots of probs with the UK wing according to the xmas thread?

I've recently ordered a whole bunch of stuff and it was delivered within the week and also I sent some to France and it took 10 days - so quicker than the regular (and crap) postal system here! I ordered a book yesterday and according to the where's my order thingy it will get to me on Tuesday. I have heard the UK Amazon is a bit overwhelmed/understaffed but so far so good with the US site. The only problem I have with it is I can buy pretty much ANYTHING online and get it delivered, which means my shopping habit has gone from bad to worse LOL!
