bit heavy for a stroller isn't it? how old is the bay no adjustable leg rest is a no no for me. it is quite a while between wee short baby leggies resting on seat to toddler comfy sitting with below knee dangling.

i've got a thing about it anyway...i have one with no leg rest and didin't use it for months after she started dangling of the end she just wasn't comfy.

I didn't think 9kg was too bad? didn't think about the leg things, at teh mo he like's to put his feet up on the front bar bit (most annoying) anyhow, he's 8.5 months at the minute hence why I wanted something comfy and cosy during the winter months (but lighter than the urban detour I've got at the mo - not to mention smaller to fold down)

Do you use public transport that you have to dold it on? If you do 9kg is a beast of a thing with a non walking child. if you don't it's not such an issue really.

I really don't think you can beat a maclaren techno xt nice suspension adj leg rest really padded cosy foot muff goes really flat for sleeps... just noticed it does say adjustable calf support.

I would want to check the handle height unless you are small I am 5'8 and most strollers are too short for me.

It does look quite padded and snug but it doesn't mention suspension. Rattly ride wthout it!

good point thanks mrs A - I don't use PT, however it's v hilly where I live, and I hgave to walk up a big steep hill to get to tots - hence wanting something lighter than that I have. also has to be small for the boot, DH is tall i'm short so adjustable handles would be fabby.

I think u're the second to recommend the mcclaren so will have a hunt to see if I can find a cheap one.
