We got bought a beautiful boys one from debenhams. I think it may have been part of the John Rocha range so may have been expensive. It a lovely blue but I bet they have other colours. But my son won't wear it!

NappiesGalore · 11/11/2006 20:48

funkidry just changed name to holm personalised for some reason...

we have the ducks. a big hit here.

alex8 · 11/11/2006 20:50

aah thats the one (I get designers muddled up) My sons doesn't have a rocket on though. Its odd that they don't do it in other colours. Hes so annoying as he looks so sweet and cuddly in it. He has never refused to wear anything before.

WelshBoris · 11/11/2006 20:55

Yip Debenhams

Ive tried everywhere for one for DD, I could only find fleecy ones and thats no good when she gets out of the bath

M & S have got bright red ones (not very girly) for £10.00 in different sizes.

NappiesGalore · 11/11/2006 21:01

oh right, sorry.

oddly, my dc's wont wear the robes we got them either. what is it about robes so many of them seem to hate??

bloody wierd if you ask me.

they do love the ducks tho, which they put on after their bath.

but if its robes you want, debenhams for you by the sounds of it...

NappiesGalore · 11/11/2006 21:01

whats not girly about red??

Lauraa83 · 11/11/2006 21:38

Hello

I spent ages looking for 1 for ds - everywhere seemed to have velour but not towelling but I don't see the point in those!

Anyway mothercare have some - but to be honest they are expensive - around £15 and the nicest 1s I have seen (where I got one from in the end) was matalan for £8 and much nicer than the m'care 1s too! They have lilac ones with butterflies on for girls I think

JackieNo · 11/11/2006 21:41

If you're willing to pay a bit, the White Company have a lovely one.

JackieNo · 11/11/2006 21:46

And how could we forget Boden ?

Mercy · 11/11/2006 21:46

La Redoute have towelling poncho type things in load of different colours, at around £10. Am thinking of getting these because it doubles up as a towel and bathrobe/dressing gown etc. Especially good at this time of year when they get cold after a bath.

Will see if I can do a link.

JackieNo · 11/11/2006 21:51

And a really expensive, but pretty one here .

redshoes · 11/11/2006 21:52

Mine have a Woolies (Barbie) one and a cheap George one...but both from last year...

frogs · 11/11/2006 21:52

Letterbox do these personalised ones in proper towelling, but not cheap.

Or boden do these nice pink ones, but even less cheap. These are not quite as exorbitant, but smaller range of colours/designs.

LIZS · 11/11/2006 21:52

When I was looking for one for ds earlier this year there seemd to be loads of towelling for girls and none for boys, just fleecy ones! M and S had some (one was a Hermione one I think) and perhaps Adams or BHS

JackieNo · 11/11/2006 21:54

Pink one here .

LIZS · 11/11/2006 22:03

Come to think of it dd's last one came from H and M

boyboyboy · 11/11/2006 22:24

JoJo Maman Bebe or whatever do some lovely ones (stripes and gingham)

alex8 · 12/11/2006 16:25

I saw some lovely flowery and girly stripey ones in H& M this am but is was in the under 3 section. Not sure if they had them in bigger sizes.

MrsMuddle · 12/11/2006 17:39

I was in Aldi today and got a lovely boys' towelling robe. It's pale green wigh a dragon on it. I think there were lilac ones for girls, too, and they were only £6.

brimfull · 12/11/2006 17:41

saw some lovely light blue ones in m&s the other day,ds has red one and it's georgously soft.
