I am thinking of buying DS (nearly 2) a toy hoover for Xmas - has anyone had a good one that actually picks up dirt and was it a popular choice for your DC?

i bought ds1 a mini dyson. i needed the cylinder type, not the upright which was the only one i could find anywhere new.
i managed to get a cylinder one, used, from ebay. I paid £15 for it but he absolutely adores it.
he whips it out when im hoovering and gets really excited.
it has 2 settings, one to pick up fluff etc and one to spin the little beads round the cylinder so it looks like its switched on.
actually, it is probably one of his very favourite things.

and he looks so cute whilst vacuuming!

Thank you for that Lady. I will need an upright one as that is what I use at home-I think there is one in the Toyrus catalogue. DS loves watching me hoover and is always trying to get in the pantry to play with it. Is yours heavy on batteries?
