I had daisy roots for my ds about 2 years ago and they were great, am thinking about them for no.2.

I've tried Daisy Roots, Starchild and Robeez. They are all much the same but I prefer the Robeez of them all.
My son wore them from 18 months and is still wearing them now at almost 3! (age 2-3 ones) Also they have a black sole, which is so much easier to keep clean.
(Though I did put the others in the machine. Do that at your own risk though, the dye that comes out of them is enormous!!)

all pretty much the same, aren't they? just choose which design you like best.

try here. this woman makes her own to whatever size and design you want (could copy a design you like from the 3 you mentioned and get it much cheaper ;))
and they are only £5!! shoes

by the way when you wash the shoes, you say the dye comes out HMG but does the colour on the shoes actually fade?

Unless your dd has really big feet, I'd stay away from the shoo shoos. They are really wide. DD has pretty average sized feet, and was in a 0-6 mo size at 13 months. I belong to a softsoled shoe group here in the States, and most people in the group say the exact same thing, in fact many find that their DC's don't grow into them width wise until they are too small length wise. The only reason I owned a pair was someone bought them for their newborn DD, and they didn't even come close to fitting, so she gave them to us.

Robeez are the absolute bees knees. I can't wait to get some for new baby.
I think they are doing free postage at the moment too.
