Tell me about the mazda 5 mpv?

Looks good, heard its reliable but have been warned about the models between 04-10 being unreliable?! Any one got one? What do you think of yours?

According to Reliability Index the Mazda 5 is average, which agrees with my personal experience.The commonality with the Ford Focus / C-max means that they are cheap and easy to fix if anything goes wrong.
Good availability of the robust and refined petrol engines is a bonus if you are a low mileage driver, city-bound driver.
I buy as many as I can; they sell well and customers like them.

Petrol version is fine. Lots of problems with the diesel!

I had to sell mine during my divorce and I missed it so much I ended up buying another one. Love, love love my mazda5

Our experience of an 07 diesel was horrendous - so expensive to fix and parts hard to come by. We loved te car in terms of space, sliding diirs etc but had to give up on it after bills ran into thousands.
