I need to get a present and I'm not to good on what 3 year old boys enjoy these days - has anyone's ds got a firm favorite?

Thomas the Tank Engine - the English one.
My 3 year old loves Little Einsteins!

But TTT is quite a safe bet, not many boys really hate trains.

Pocoyo!

ds1 loves Tractor Ted, Tractor Tom, Thomas, and Piggley Winks.

ludaloo · 06/11/2006 10:17

My 3 year old does love Thomas...

He also really loves Finding Nemo...He is into the disney pixar dvd's.

He is also quite keen on Disney's Dinosaur

DS will be 3 very soon.

He loves Thomas, is currently into Tractor Tom, likes Charlie and Lola. Also Brum, Ivor the Engine and Bod.

sydneygirl · 06/11/2006 10:22

The "Here comes a Tractor" and "Here comes a Digger" are must-haves in this house-hold.
Loads of building site and farm action and happy-clappy songs.
We love it...sorry, THEY love it!

(Just Google the title as I think you can only buy it online)

Pingu, Brum, Here comes a digger, Here comes a fire engine in this house. If there were a Numberjacks one that'd be worn out by now.

DominiConnor · 06/11/2006 10:37

DS is 3 in 2 weeks, and he love Pirates of the Caribbean. A lot The latest installment in now on DVD.

Surfermum · 06/11/2006 10:42

I've not got a ds, I've got a dd, but she too loves Finding Nemo and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

woodpop · 06/11/2006 10:43

Lazytown and Finding Nemo are always winners here

foxtrot · 06/11/2006 10:49

Enjy Benjy, Thomas Tank, Tractor Tom, Go Diego Go (Dora spin off for boys)

Clary · 06/11/2006 11:19

OOh pirates of the Caribbean was a 12A at the cinema so I'd steer clear of that personally.

Finding Nemo, Wallace and Gromit, Incredibles, Shrek or Shrek 2, all very popular here.

DS2 not keen on Thomas but he has older siblings who would deem it too babyish so maybe that's why lol.
(also I have never encouraged it as find Ringo Starr so annoying).

If you want a film I'd say Nemo, Monsters Inc, Incredibles, Madagascar. My DS liked Wallace & Gromit & Raymond Briggs Father Christmas too but he has 5yo DD which I think makes a difference.

If you want something from TV, then I agree with Thomas, Tractor Tom, Dora or Percy the Park Keeper.

tracyk · 06/11/2006 12:39

My ds is almost 3 and loves all the ones mentioned so far - plus Polar Express - seasonal too!
He also loves TTE - but the film version - American I think - but a bit more grown up that the British one.
He also loves Annie and Oliver.
