Work are going to buy me a PDA but i will have to tell them what i want but i haven't got a clue!

All i know is that i'd like it to be WiFi, sync my diary, and have word/and or other microsoft programmes.

What do i want/need?

I've got a fairly basic Palm (Zire something), which I'm quite pleased with. It doesn't have word etc, but then I don't use it for work. The one flaw in it, which I would look out for were I to get another or upgrade, is that it doesn't link the different functions. Eg I can't put a meeting in my diary and link that with the contacts list, I have to input all details (telphone, address etc) by hand. Definitely worth ensuring that what you get can make a direct link, otherwise it's a lot of faff and timewasting to paste in info, plus likelihood of entering mistakes.

I used to have an excellent Compaq Ipaq (can't remember model no. - and think they might be under the Hewlett Packard brand now?) which was excellent and did everything you are looking for. Until I stood on it and smashed it...
