Are they any good. Thinking about getting one for DH as a little xmas gift as he likes doing them in the paper. They seem relatively cheap so just wondered is it likely the puzzles just repeat themselves or are there quite a few??

IMO as serious sudoku addict, electronic ones deeply hack me off
I love the Times books of sudoku
For variety get the killer sudoku - my personal fave.

I don't like the electronic things, as I write lots of little notes and symbols and things when I'm working them out.

I can do quick easy ones on an electronic gizmo, but they're no good for the challenging ones.

I love Killer Sudoku too, and am with roisin and Piffle on this- paper ones much more interesting and rewarding. Ds has an electronic one- I think they're fine if you're doing the relatively straightforward ones, but I would go with Piffle's suggestion of a Times book myself. You can do them online for nothing if you really want electronic
