Today bought ds for Christmas a lego set to make a police station, complete with vehicles, people etc, with a free pack to make a police helicopter and speed boat. RRP £69.99, on sale for £34.99, but now all lego has 25% off so got the lot for £26.24.
Hours and hours of fun to be had for bargain price.

I bought a lego police station in the mid 80s I'm sure I paid more than that!

Crackle · 02/11/2006 18:38

I've just looked online as my boys would love this. It's not on their website. I'll have to have a mooch into town tomorrow because that is a fantastic price. [Crosses fingers]

There are some for sale on ebay (someone making a pretty penny!!), but if you wanted to just see what the 2 sets were like, look at item nos 200042371792 and 220042301329

Just wanted to say a HUGE thankyou for this post. I managed to get one of the police stations today for £24.60p! I also picked up a big Bionicle thingy for my younger ds that was marked down to £39 from £59. It scanned at £22!!!!

I have no idea how they work out their pricing but the lego display had been decimated so the word has obviously spread quickly.

I am so pleased to have got the main pressies for such a great price. The Police Station is huge.

Thanks again for sharing. I really appreciated the tip-off.

Is this offer going to be on for a bit longer. I'm waiting for my vouchers for Christmas and DS would love these. Keeping my fingers crossed.

MegaLegs · 03/11/2006 15:46

Noticed loads of good offers in there yesterday. a big wooden farm set and a dolls house reduced to £29.99. Also big remote control truck thing same price.

Crackle · 03/11/2006 17:29

I think the offer ends on the 12th of Nov, probably to clear old stock before their huge Xmas deliveries arrive.

People were staggering under the weight of toys today. Thank God I don't have to go back in now before Xmas.

Pleased to have helped!
A while ago I got a Thunderbirds thingy for ds's birthday, reduced from £59.99 to £24.99 (spotted just 2 left on the shelf) but was out with minimal cash and no cards. Fortunately bumped into a friend who lent me the cash! Woolies really do have some fab bargains at times.

tortoisestrappedtoarocket · 03/11/2006 23:38

Is it this one?
lego shop online
Not quite as cheap but it does come with helicopter and other bits.

Crackle · 04/11/2006 13:57

Yes, that's it. The Woolies one comes with the police boat too. They must be having a good old clearout at the lego factory.

There are quite a few on ebay. The postage looks a lot at £8 but it really is a big box to post so probably worth it.
