Hi,

we're thinking about a new car after yet another garage bill from our knackered Meriva.

The thing is all the ones I've seen look the same to me - curly nylon carpet, easily scratched dashboard, 'man-styling' for want of a better phrase, ie it's nice and swish and posh looking but you can't put an average toddler in it and expect it to stay nice.

Short of someone actually making a car that is completely wipe clean without little orifices for marbles/stones/cheerios to disappear into, is there something out there that holds three children of vastly varying ages, and is fairly easy to clean?

I would say a vinyl floor was non negotiable but I don't think there is such a thing. Oh how different cars would be if they were really designed for small children.

Don't get a black one. It is a nightmare. Get a silver one as the dirt does not show so much. We have had all sorts of colours over the years. I thought the black car looked so lovely in the showroom but it has turned out to be a nightmare to keep clean looking.
Bird poo stands out on a black background it hardly shows on a silver one.
