Not sure what you mean..is it the type that keep the gloves attached to each other..?? How about sewing in a piece of elastic or thread..?

Shhh, DD doesn't like the feeling of the elastic snagging around her shoulders, so I was hoping to get away without sewing

You can get plastic clips which fasten the mittens to the sleeve, I know I've seen them somewhere -- can't think where

jackie, shoulder-snag issue remains (I can remember the wriggly/snaggy shoulder feeling myself... I am probably too sympathetic)
