What do you have for kids to sleep on when they come to stay? We're having a 3 year old to stay and have nothing for her to sleep on, and would like to buy something easy to pack away and store that's not too expensive. Any ideas?

Thanks!

A roll mat from a camping shop plus a child's sleeping bag is good enough. You can buy an inflatable mattress from Argos very cheaply if you prefer. My children always wanted to be the one sleeping on the floor!

For young kids I tend to just double up our spare double duvet and use that as a mattress and put the child in a sleeping bag on top.

Jura where did you get yours from? Really want one for dd but can only find them for £75 from gltc which is a bit too much I reckon

can be folded right up into a sleeping bag size bag...

I have seen some really fab "ready bed" sleepover beds on ebay. they are about 30pounds, which I thought was too much, so I haven't bought one yet.

But they look quite useful, especially as the sleeping bag bit zips onto the mattress, so the child can't fall off.

sorry, crossed posts with the two pics. yes, just like those ones.
