Volvo XC90 any opinions?

We have three kids and enormous dog. We are considering a used Xc90 - anyone love it or hate it?

They're ok. They get the job done, nice enough to drive. Not brilliant mpg, but then it's a huge, heavy 4x4 so can't expect anything else.

I have one (my second - I had one about 10'years ago as well) and like it.

Are they expensive to run - servicing etc?

Reasonably expensive, but I love mine. Very safe and the kids enjoy the back seats where they are far enough away to ignore persistent squabbling.
