Right

Vodafone Pay as you Talk

If you spend £5 during the week on credit, from 7.30 Friday night until Midnight Sunday EVERY call and text is free. To any network

No catches, just spend a fiver get free weekends

As for the handset you can buy it yourself if you want and then ring Vodafone and get a free SIM card 08700776655

zippitippitoes · 29/10/2006 13:54

that sounds good, just have to think of people to ring at weekends

the cheapest i found the phone was as orange pay as you go on lx direct at 149.00 but unfortunately at the moment you can't unlock it, a sim free one the cheapest i found was 185.00

They are expensive handsets, so contract would be better

You could have

for £25 a month

150 mins to any network
100 texts
and 2 extras

extras could be- Stop the Clock
50% extra mins
more texts
half price line rental for 3 months
or 3G entertainment packs

Sounds confusing, but you can make the price plan fit you

WelshBoris · 29/10/2006 14:13

And the handset will be free on this price plan

zippitippitoes · 29/10/2006 14:17

alternatively what would be a nice phone to have on that first pay as you go plan, thank you for your help lovely welshboris

How much do you want to spend?

zippitippitoes · 29/10/2006 14:27

it can be over 100.00..I was looking at pay as you go because dp wants to buy it and he doesn't have abank account to do a contract

More freedom with pay as you talk

sony ericsson v600i £72

bluetooth
video calling
mp3 player
good camera

good phone, we dont get many complaints about this one, easy to use

ProfessorGrammaticus · 29/10/2006 14:36

OOh Boris you sound as if you know your stuff! I am on Vodafone pay as you talk and currently have an old Samsung A800 (A80?) clamshell which I like because it is SMALL. What should I buy now to replace that? Don't need a camera or anything fancy.

WelshBoris · 29/10/2006 14:39

Sharp GX27 £55 online price

Camera,video and bluetooth

Again, good reliable phone use to use

Do you get your free weekends? If not text "free weekends" to 2345

zippitippitoes · 29/10/2006 14:46

I shall have a look at the shops..next battle will be to persuade dp to get them online and not in the shops!

OP posts:
WelshBoris · 29/10/2006 14:48

Better deals online

Best off going into the shop first of all though to get a feel of the handset

Youd be suprised how many people return phones because they dont like the buttons or screen!
