board games and ps2 ideas for girls please?

I need a bit of help and advice - don't know whether I'll get it as it doesn't involve fanj*s (yuk hate that word)
I'm looking for ideas for presents for my 7yr old dd - I would like to buy a board game (along the lines of cranium/trivial pursuit) and a ps2 game (we have a barbie one riding a horse which she loves).
Anyone any ideas or thoughts on the board games mentioned?

Scrabble is good our house - board game.

Get an eye toy and you can get loads of games incl some dancing ones i think

We have got Eye toy and number 3

DS loves it he plays it when friends come round and by himself.

It is like a camera that plugs into TV and PS2 and it shows you on the screen interacting with the game

So like with bowling one it has a ball on TV and you wave your arms and sort of throw the ball and it knocks skittles down

Eye toy is great. Also what about singstar (like karaoke)with a mike, use with eye toy and can see themselves singing too(Just watch the adults make a bee-line for it after a couple of glasses tho!)

you buy the EYE TOY camera and it comes with a game set inside the box

And then next time you just buy the game set

Eye toy 3 has about 20 games on it iirc

including a beauty palour one

Thanks all - so you do need a PS2 for it - I wondered if you could use it on a PC. Sounds great though, when we get our PS2 I think I'll def get an eye toy.

heres the eye toy with a game. Check when your buying that your buying a pack WITH the camera, after that you just need the games. but the games cant be played without the camera.
Its for the playstation 2 only. cant be used on pc
