My sister was 35 last month so I bought her of pot of wonder cream with 'boswellox' just to make her laugh as she always takes the p* out of over-priced daft beauty gimmicks.

She phoned me tonight and said it was actually working and even her dp has started using it!!!

How can this be possible???

Oh yeah, and how are their portraits in the attic looking?

WideWebWitch · 25/04/2004 23:01

I can't believe they've even called a product ingredient 'boswellox' it's just so close to 'bollocks' that I wondered at first if it was supposed to be ironic. Or something. But apparently not.

eddm · 25/04/2004 23:03

www, I thought the same! presumably an attempt to sound like botox...

I must be sooo old - it reminded me of 'Boswell - John - Boswell' from Charlie's angels!!

So, if you were trying to fool wrinklies into buying your own product what would you call it??

I assumed the whole point was to sound like bollocks as a joke! I reckon they're putting Dove firming cream on their faces I would flog my cream to wrinklies by calling it Werthers Original JR Hartley Stannah cream...

coppertop · 25/04/2004 23:17

'Boswellox' sounds like something designed for swollen bollocks!!

goosey · 25/04/2004 23:20

lol ct, yes it does doesn't it? that's it exactly!

LOL at Stannah Cream! It would definitely give the wrinklies a lift!
