Amaretto, how are you getting on with the ellaroo hip sling?

If you are there amaretto ....

Just wondered as you recommended to me on my feeling miserable thread, but had only just ordered yours.

Got mine and used it three times now. Its easy to use and dd seems to be really comfy in it.

Only problem is with the arm which has the shoulder strap over it - each time you lift that arm even to shoulder height to do something, it moves the fabric strap. So there's no chance of reaching anything any higher. Also found dd slipping down below the hip after about 10mins.

I might email ellaroo to see if any advice how to adjust or wear it more effectively.

Just wondered if you had found the same?

I just ordered one and received it today! I had hired one before though, and ds spent a whole day (more or less) in it! I was trying to do stuff this afternoon and couldn't lift my arm up too far. I don't know what you could really do to alleviate the problem. If she is slipping down, do you have the strap tight enough?

whole day - you must be strong, my shoulder ached after about 30 mins and I do carry dd quite a bit already

I know I thought as much about the arm thing, I was just so wanting it to be okay I was hoping there was something I was missing. I had it tight I think I would have squashed dd if any tighter!

I will try again tomorrow.
