next or ikea possibly

PrettyCandles · 26/10/2006 09:52

Ikea has that sort of cabinet. Don't think it locks, but you cab always fit a lock youserlf.

PrettyCandles · 26/10/2006 09:56

There's an error on the website and I couldn't go to the item itself, but scroll down to the item named MARKA-R.

IKEA

MrsBadger · 26/10/2006 10:00

this looks good but doesn't appear to have a lock - bet you could you get one added locally / use a child lock or something...

purplemonkeydishwasher · 26/10/2006 10:02

i have this one and it did the trick!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 26/10/2006 10:02

has a lock with a key.

MrsBadger · 26/10/2006 10:05

some pricier options here

MrsBadger · 26/10/2006 10:06

and these people make them to measure so they could def put a lock in one.

MrsBadger · 26/10/2006 10:08

or if you have a smaller tv this might do the trick - the handle style means you could use a padlock.

Piffle · 26/10/2006 10:11

I've got a spare ikea Billy TV bench going if you are interested
It will be cheap.
I'm in Lincs, if you're interested, could poss ship it down to Kent as exp lives there and her is bringing ds back this weekend.
or borwse ebay for items near you - bargains galore
like this one but ours has locking doors

Piffle · 26/10/2006 10:12

might be too big for what you weant though, we have two and use it for stereo/tv on top, dvd and cd storage

alexsCURSEDMUMMY · 26/10/2006 10:17

purple monkey mmmmmm-that might well work, because although the t.v isn't loked away, all the bits are.
lile the garden armoire one but woulnd't go in our living room.
i've got to do something. my children are t.v addicts and apart from making sure i am always in the same room , how do i stop them putting it on?
put them on a ba a while back , and whenever i was out of the room they would put it on with the sound turned down si i couldn't hear it.
i'm sick of the bloody telly.
