Do the wheelchair manufacturer's not sell anything? Would an adult-sized waterproof cape fit over a child-szed wheelchair?

iPodthereforiPoor · 25/10/2006 15:42

try the argos catelougue - I'm sure they have started doing this sort of stuff- or try the OTs at the wheelchair service they should have access to catelogues or local "disability equipment type shop" I know where one is near me if you want I could go look for you and post?

Try Amrose Wilson catalogue.

I'm sure they have a selection of special needs accessories.

Argos have some.

Try ebay.

What area do you live in?

We have a shop a few miles away and i could find their number if you want, might get mail order from them.

What about the waterproof capes for cyclists? Would they work?

BettyBatShapedSpaghetti · 25/10/2006 21:54

Googling for the cyclist capes I came across this - just what you need

does anyone know if somewhere does actual rainwear for a wheelchair like you'd get on a childs pushchair?

my friends boy has a wheelchair.he is 7 but small for his age and he hates the rain on his face from the mac type things where his face is still out.

thanks
