DH was given one as a leaving work pressie last week. Aren't they just fab! Only tried the caffe crema t-Disc so far, they came with the machine but looking forward to trying the hot choccie and others.
I love the smell of coffee that lingers around the house when I've made one - just like a proper posh cafe.

I want one - are they fiddly to clean?

Zippetydoodahzippetyday · 25/10/2006 20:19

Think I might DP one for Xmas, he says he wants one but wouldn't have one as they are so expensive.

Haven't cleaned ours as yet - but reading though the leaflet they recommend cleaning regularly and it looks pretty simple. You get a special t-disc to put it that has the cleaning bar code I believe. It sort of self cleans I think!

Hmm spookler.. you must be better at using it than my sister who made me the most vile cup of caffe cream the other day using hers. I really can't see the appeal . Hers didn't make the house smell nice at all. howmuch does it cost per cup? Is it cheaper than a little expresso machine?

Spookler1 · 25/10/2006 21:08

I'm not sure of the cost as yet as we have been using the free ones that came with the machine. I have to venture out to supermarket to find out. It may be the only time we drink it if they are too expensive. It will only be used when guests come round otherwise. LOL!

The discs are about £3.29 for 20 but Asda quite often has them for 4 for £10 and mae sure you register it as they send you vouchers for free disks and also I get 50p off vouchers every so often too.

It is easy to clean you use the cleaning disc to flush it through every few times and the other bits can be taken off and put in the dishwasher

Just to let you know that I bought some in Tesco yesterday for £3.25 a pack. We have the hot chocolate this time. Yum!
