Any place doing them cheap or anything I can use as a substitute?

I have bought magnetic animals and want to make up boards for all the kids Xmas pressies - so need quite a few!

baking sheets (with low sides IYKWIM ie not trays) - DD uses one for her Barbie magnetic dressing up things. Cheap too!

Good idea - do they look presentable enough to give to friends' kids?

You could maybe paint something on them, their names or something to add the personal touch. Or glue gems on one corner for a girl. I think they would love them. Simple things etc etc!

Have a look on www.mamatoto.co.uk - they sell magnetic paint (code 11007)...you just paint it on and then paint over with normal paint - it's absolutely brilliant. One tin would make loads of memo-boards. If you use code SW1ZZ200 you get free delivery on your first order.

Happy making!
