A friend of a friend told me about a clock which is separated into daytime and nightime and can be set by parents to allow toddler to see when they're allowed to get up.... No not an alarm clock! Apparently its got pictures of day and night or something...
Anyone know of them and where to get one?

Mamatoto has one called a Night and Day Clock \link{http://www.mamatoto.co.uk/PRD_ProductDetail.aspx?CID=29&PID=1795}
and i have a free P&P code if you want it: KF1ZZ140

twickersmum · 22/10/2006 22:59

oh, i don't think that link worked.
go to www.mamatoto.co.uk and enter Night and Day Clock into the search box.

The kidsleep clock is great. Sell them in the jojo catalogue and john lewis.
I've had the one in skribble's thread. It makes a big klunking sound when it wakes up. This woke my dd up when I'm sure she would have slept longer.

definitely don't buy the bunny clock (come to think of it you can have mine!) as it is so inaccurate you can't set it precisely enough. also the bunny's eyes open and ears pop up with such a clunk that if by chance they are deciding to sleep a bit later, then they will be woken up! If you search for bunny clock on mumsnet you will see lots of threads telling you to stay away!!
The other thing you could try are fairy lights on a timer? when the fairies wake up, you can get up. (am sure you can get the boy equivalents!)

Good idea - just popped on this thread cos was going to get a bunny clock but won't now - I wasn't keen on the price anyway so now I know.

Re the fairy lights for boys, I have seen football lights - might have been Next or Woolies?
