So, whose DD has pink suede boots this year and where are they from?

All the boots we saw yesterday were brown or black and DD is a very pink girl (she's 7 BTW)!

Any bright ideas? - looked in Mothercare, they had some but they were too narrow for her, also various other high street places but nothing pink.

Her face was a picture of horror at the suggestion she wear brown boots!

russell and bromley have some. we were there getting sensible winter shoes so didn't see the prices, but they are definitely available there.

PinkTulips · 22/10/2006 16:32

do you have dunnes over there? i think they have some pink ones, dd got lovely deep purple suede ones there with a pink flower on the side

hermykne · 22/10/2006 16:33

pinktulips where are you in ireland

nutcracker · 22/10/2006 16:35

Adams definatly had pink ones and they have a sale on too.

PinkTulips · 22/10/2006 16:36

TooTickyTheAppleBobber · 22/10/2006 16:37

Dd2 has pink boots - not suede though - made by Ecco.

foxtrottingtotransylvania · 22/10/2006 16:37

DD has dark purple ankle boots with flowers, from a company called UMI (??). From our local independent who sells clarks, startrite, ecco etc too.

KBear · 22/10/2006 16:37

Adams at Bluewater is ridiculously small so they didn't have any but will check out bigger store (or online). TBH Adams is the kind of price range I was looking for rather than Russell & Bromely but thanks lalaa. No Dunnes here pinktulips.

I have Bluewater on my doorstep - massive shopping centre - no pink boots, can't understand it unless DD is terribly old-fashioned wanting girly pink

Just looked at the Adams website - they have a few pairs! Bizarrely the sale price for some is dearer than the original price - WT...?

living in galway city since 2003, was in cork for years before that. have you met the rest of the irish clique btw? theres a few of us on MN

helsy · 22/10/2006 16:55

We went to Brantano last Sunday (don't know if there is one near you) and there were lots of pale pink suede and nubuck boots. We bought a pair of purple DMs with stars on - not from Brantano, though.

Matalan has nice pink suede boots (tan too). I also saw some lovely ones in a cheapo shoe shop in Falkirk yesterday.

anniebear · 22/10/2006 17:22

Couldn't have pink suede! One step in a bit of mud and ruined!

we got brown from Tesco's but with lots of pink on them (20% off at the mo!)

KBear · 22/10/2006 17:30

Hmm, was thinking purple might be better actually. Although her pink ones didn't get ruined too quickly last year. Scotchguard is great too.

Boden have purple.

KBear · 22/10/2006 17:40

Unfortunately my budget isn't Boden-sized but thanks anyway. I was thinking £25 really. Thanks for all your replies.
