I am absolutely disgusted by this and hope the people in questions hands drop off.

A few days ago on of dh's colleagues was killed in a motorcycle accident, he always had a love for speed and unfortunately was his downfall.

He left 3 young children, the eldest I beleive was 8.

What has disgusted me, is that this morning I found out that his local paper printed the story with his address and whilst his wife was being looked after by her parents, some scum of the earth burgled her house, damaging and stealing memories of a husband and daddy.

I really really hope their hands drop off.

Just wanted to vent really and also with the lady having children she MAY be a mumsnetter, if so

How very sad. Poor family.

Someone needs to get in touch with the paper and tell the story ending with a big appeal to get the important stuff back - maybe an amnesty - return the items to the newspaper office, no questions asked....might work.

They printed his address? How stupid of them.

A similar thing happened here a few months ago. A man drowned in the summer and within hours his home was burgled and things that would have been passed onto his sons were stolen.

I don't know how people who do this can sleep at night
