The ones where you got Princess Alexa for about £17.

They were non transferrable - it looks like you have the discount, but they then take out the full amount, and send you an email telling you that the codes don't work.

anniebear · 21/10/2006 19:10

yep, I have had trouble to

Got charged £32.99 iinstead of £21.99

Had to send the doll back

I told her it was bad that it said a certain amount on line then they take more off you

My friend really complained and they didn't alter the amount

I have e mailed them and am waiting for a reply

TortUREoiseChamber · 21/10/2006 20:04

Oh no ive have just done an order. Wouldn't take solo so opened an account that i didn't really want.

Glassofslime · 21/10/2006 20:11

I ordered something and only the 10% showed on the final invoice after I'd ordered it, also it gave me a credit account that I didn't think I had chosen. I emailed them immediately and got a response aprox 5 mins after the postman delivered the order! It's vague it says 'thank you for taking advantage of our offer, if you are happy with your order when you get it let us know and we will adjust your account". I hope that means that the £13.50 will be deducted.

TortUREoiseChamber · 21/10/2006 20:23

Few.Just had email.Account opening has not been accepted! Will have to keep an eye out for bargains elsewhere!

Flamebat · 21/10/2006 22:23

Heard more from my sister... she says that the email says the right amount, but that the account says different. There are lots of "cr" on the account that she is baffled by, and is going to send me the email and account details so I can see... she's also thinking that she might get the difference refunded.

[cry] [cry] I already sent mine back lol lol

But I have since ordered Barbie telephones and e mailed and told them not to bother sending them to me if they don't take the £13.50 off!

They said sorry and they have credited it to my account. Does that mean they have actually took the £13.50 off the cost or just credited my account with £13.50 for the next time I buy something??

They must be getting lots of calls!

sorry If I sound thick (I am lol)

Flamebat · 23/10/2006 15:01

My sister says that they took the £30odd out of her bank account, and paid the £13 or whatever back into her bank account.
