Morning! This is for anyone who happened to order The Ascot Cotbed from Toys R Us or maybe other products that you had a cancellation order for and the price has gone up now when the email said it's out of stock.
On Friday (23rd Jan) I ordered the Ascot Cotbed in Oak at the sale price of £151.99 and then I also had a voucher for £20 off £150 or more so my order came to £131.99. I had an email this morning stating that my order has been cancelled due to it being out of stock. I happened to go on to the website and the cotbed was actually not out of stock on there, but instead I noticed that the cotbed was now back up to it's full price of £189.99! I also want to point out that the voucher expired today.
So I rang up the head office and asked them what was going on due to the whole pricing issue and it being out of stock but it's not saying that. The gentleman said that it's not out of stock but there is quality issues at the moment with them (he apologised for the wrong thing being sent in the email) and assured me that it had nothing to do with the updating of the pricing. He said that once they come back in stock again (he was going to update the website to say it's out of stock) I am to ring them back and they will reduce the cotbed to the price I had for me order originally so I don't have to pay the full price and no voucher discount either.
So if any of you ladies have ordered this, (or happened to have ordered something else and it appears to have this sort of problem) I would advise you to ring them so you don't pay the full price again when it comes back in stock.
