Laundry detergent for babies with excema

Can anyone recommend a great washing powder or liquid & a fabric softener for kids (& adults) with sensitive skin? I have used some in the past but they never get the stains out.

There must be one that smells good, removes stains and doesn't cause rashes

i use persil non bio and esitive fab con. or surcare or ecover- depends how bad her skin is. I also use an extra rinse to stop build up f detergent.

I use Surcare which I get from Sainsburys. I think most skin friendly washing stuff is not as good at cleaning as the normal stuff. It's a case of hit and miss for abit until you find something that works. I used to treat each stain with shout or similar before washing.

Dunno but don't use Fairy non-bio. Lots of people seem to react to it. In fact, don't bother with non-bio at all unless you find one that's good - a senior person from a big detergent manufacturer explained to me once that it isn't the enzymes that people react to. And biological washing powders are more effective on stains. Non-bio is apparently only sold in this country because the public somehow got hold of the wrong end of the stick. As in, other countries have plenty of people with allergies but non-bio isn't sold as there's no call for it as it makes not a blind bit of difference.
