Bikes for 3yr old girls?

My DTs will be 3 in Dec and are desperate for a bike, to the extent that they want to ride any random bike they see at the park! Any recommendations? The main criteria is that we simply must have one pink one and one purple one...

Don't get the smallest one (12") as they will outgrow it far too quickly. I bought my DTs very girly sparkly 14" ones from Toys R Us when they were just 3 and they've only just outgrown them now (5.7).

thanks for the tip sandyballs, I was wondering if that might be the case

Make sure you choose one with metal inner wheels - not the plastic gimmick ones. They don't last or wear well apparently as they are more of a fashion thing than a sturdy bike. We looked at loads and in the end bought from halfords as they had the best selection of small girlie ones

I bought an absurdly cheap barbie bike for DD in Asda for her third birthday. She rides it round the house so I don't know how sturdy it is for long trips outdoors but it has served it's purpose in that she can now ride a bike. It's the tackiest thing you ever saw in your life but she adores it.

many thanks for tips, we ordered this one pink and this one purple they arrived within 48 hours and even taking delivery costs into account were cheaper than comparable ones elsewhere, so I'd recommend the site.
