Does anyone know where I can buy a large cheap rug for childrens' playroom?

Needs to be 3m x 2.5m or bigger. Not bothered about quality. Can't find anything that doesn't cost a fortune and am running out of ideas.
Thanks.

ikea?

TooTickyTheAppleBobber · 17/10/2006 16:27

I'd try Ikea too.

I was going to say Ikea. Ds has the big blue one with dragons on it. Lovely quality, only about £20.

Is this any good?

You could always put 2 or even 3 together..

Very comfortable and easy to wipe down...

Hi castles. I bought the foam mat & it's brilliant, ebay have lots, possibly bigger than the one from blooming marvellous. You can get diff.designs e.g. world map, black & white etc. I'm going to Ikea Friday too, can have a look & see what they've got if you want me to!

castlesintheair · 17/10/2006 18:38

Oooh thanks everybody, I love the ikea dragons & the foam one from Blooming Marvellous. Yes please, AQ, if you see anything really big and cheap can you let me know? Also, I wonder if Ikea do beanbags? This nesting is really getting to me

Hey castles, had a good look at rugs tonight at ikea, the largest they had was 200x300cms (I don't know if that's big enough for you without getting out my tape measure). The cheapest ones at that size were Tarnby (jute, £75, natural) Skagen (wool, brown or grey, £90) & Egeby (sisal, £70, various colours) . There are more on the website in that size, but didn't see them in the store (I was at Leeds). I actually meant o buy a tarnby one in the smaller size but forgot & was too tired to go back!

accessorizequeen · 20/10/2006 23:04

Oh, didn't see any beanbags I'm afraid!

luckymummy2sophie · 20/10/2006 23:51
