Best Shampoo and Conditioner?!

Was seriously skint last month so bought sainsburys own tee tree shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately it seems to have left me with severely itchy scalp and to the extent that putting a brush through my hair makes me want to cry.

Can someone PLEASE recommend a cheap-ish shampoo and conditioner that I can use without getting a really sore scalp?

Am resorting to baby shampoo at the moment!

simple is the absolute best for me, but if i can't afford it my local supermarket does a twin pack of shamoo and conditioer from tresemme for really cheap and it last forever and is quite good

I've recently started buying Aussie shampoo and conditioner which makes my hair less flyaway and actually seems to do what it says on the bottle. Before that I tried Tresamae (sp??) which made my hair greasy! Also used Herbal Essences which was good and is often on 2 for 1 offers.

Tresseme is quite good. Have you tried pantene? I have highlights so my hair goes all horrid when I use shampoo alone. But Pantene Shampoo and then Conditioner. Loverly

Tresemme ok and good value as you can get really big bottles for cheap
Pantene my fave though
