Computer 'hideaway' desks. How often do you hide away?

We have our computer in the sitting room and it gets on my nerves sometimes. There's really nowhere else feasible to move it atm and I was thinking about buying a hideaway desk.

I wonder though, just how often it would be hidden away, iyswim, and I might just be wasting my money.

Anyone have one?

We have one and we always hideaway!

We've got one of these desks, so all you see is the flat screen. It looks like an ordinary piece of furniture, not like a wardrobe in the corner of the lounge and we close it up everytime the 'puter is off.

I also have 'my pictures' as our screen saver so it's like a moving photo album even when the computer is snoozing

Can you only get it home delivery? Would ideally like to go and pick it up.

We bought a fab computer cupboard from argos for about £100. It has glass fronted doors and cpm[uter sits inside. Always hidden away as keeps little fingers from playing then we just open doors and can use it.

just looked in argos and seems they no longer do the cupboard we have but it was also home delivery only.

Think I will get it anyway. The ones you can buy in the shop are 'pine effect'. Not a good look I imagine.

Anyone got one from anywhere else, before we make the final decision?
