I got that one too

So why do you want to change it?

lipsbite · 13/10/2006 20:30

well this is my second kenwood kettle as the first one had a water leak from the bottom and this second one the limescale filter fell off after 6 mths later and then a month ago the lid that attached to the kettle had snapped off and now it had died!

i wouldnt mind another one but the 2nd kettle didnt last long for me...how long have you had yours for?

you and your kettle! don't get a stainless steel one again! we've got one too and it does leak from the spout. there's tons of plastic kettles about

lipsbite · 13/10/2006 20:40

i find stainless steel ones boil the water hotter than plastic ones and it keeps it hot for ages too

I got this Kenwood stanless steel one from JL and it's been fab over the last 6 months or so, so sign of wear...yet and a decent price too.

I bought This breville lightening one a few months ago. It does it's job quickly and also looks good. It is lit up blue constanly when not in use which gives the kitchen a dim glow and changes to red when boiling.
