Which kindle is this?

My sister has dropped hints for a kindle for Christmas, and these have been taken. Her DH has suggested I get her a cover for 'the original kindle with a 6 inch screen'. Googling is getting me nowhere on which version is the original, could you shed any light on this?

I think any 6 inch tablet cover will fit, they usually have elastic corners that go over the Kindle to hold it in place.

You really need to find out exactly what kindle he's bought her. Each one is slightly different and the cases aren't interchangeable
