If purchasing a Kindle here in the UK, is it easy enough to solely use overseas? i.e. purchase all books online outside of UK?

Also, can I buy it from high street stores instead of amazon.co.uk?

Don't know about the overseas bit but you can get them in Tesco and PL world I think. Not sure where else
