Ds2, being mad about monkeys/apes and action figures, adores it - just wondered what sort of character he is....

One of dp's homepages Twig, he cleverly put the pic on for me.
I've never had my name in a thread title before DG

looks like something from Planet of the Apes!

SoupDragon · 10/10/2006 20:17

Planet of the Apes?

SherlockLGJ · 10/10/2006 20:20

It is planet of the Apes, I bloody hated that programme. My sister and brother didn't, guess who was overruled despite being the eldest ?

Well he looks to me like he maybe once road a motorbike of some kind.... Things like this can drive me barmy. Posted myself about a year ago with some monstrous looking little creature we picked up in a charity shop. I eventually got the full low down and back history from someone at the manufacturers (clearly some sort of graphic novel obsessive). Do you have any clue as to the maker? No codes or trademarks anywhere?

TooTickyTheAppleMuncher · 10/10/2006 22:31

Hi Treacletart
On the back of his right thigh it says (fairly predictably) CHINA, also HEI & MPI 1995. It probably means something to somebody!

Blimey! Not much to go on really is there? I reckon I would try contacting Forbidden Planet or "Action Figure" to see if there's an obsessive there who might recognise it perhaps.
