My DD is 6 1/2 and I was thinking of getting one of the above games for her for xmas. Anyone got a recommendation for either? As she is 7 in february - is junior scrabble a bit young for her? Whats junior monopoly like?
thanks in advance

scrabble is good, monopoly is a bit involved!

My DS (6) loves junior monopoly. He's even got the pc version for when I haven't time to play board games. We have junior scrabble as well but he never really took to that. Of course,it could just be that he's a mercenary little devil and loves handling the money.

My 6.5 and 5 year olds enjoy Junior scrabble. You can play it at various levels, you can make it quite hard. I love scrabble so I'd recommend it in any form. If they find it too easy you can make it more like real scrabble in the points system.
