Highchairs

i'm looking for a highchair for dd at the moment and I'm totally stumped as to what to get her. I had originally thought that I would just get her a booster seat but I think that she will be uncomfortable in one. I'm after a wooden highchair that pulls up to the table but also has a detatchable tray. I can't seem to find anything that fits the bill as the tripp trapp doesn't have a tray and neither does the babydan. Any ideas?

HI, I have a Svan highchair. Got mine from Kiddicare. Like the Stokke it's not cheap but does have a tray and I think it looks lovely as well as being v. practical. It comes with a cushion and tray. You can adjust the seat and footrest heights. I have mine for DD who is 4 but am going to replace DD2 (18mths) booster with one soon. ( When I have saved up

Looked at the reviews already but still felt confused ! I think the Svan might be too expensive but I will have another look on kiddicare.

i have it and its great

can be adapted to suit growing children, right up to school age, just adjust the seat and its lke a normal chair

i hardly used the tray, took it off after initial weaning stages and just pulled it up to the table

THANKYOU nailpolish! That looks like the highchair I've been dreaming of, not literally of course, I'm not that sad yet but ykwim . I will show dp this evening and then order it if he's in agreement.
