My 9 yo needs a decent-sized desk for her bedroom to do homework/drawing/ pootling about at. Ideally some storage as well, and large enough to last into her teenage years. Nothing too pink (iyswim)!

Any suggestions?

My dh trawled the antique shops and bought a bureau for DS2 (DS1 already had one from dh's grandmother's house when she died). They are great. Plenty of drawer space for storage. Pull down the flap to lean on for writing, etc. All your pens and essentials are stored in the top section and you can hide it all away by putting the flap back up when you've finished. And I don't think they come in pink
