Simpsons Cluedo for a 6.5 yo boy??

I've seen it bandied about here that Simpsons Cluedo is good (Junior Cluedo has been slated!). DS will be 6.5 at Christmas and in a vain attempt to prise him off the PS2 this festive season I would like a couple of board games (he has Simpsons Hit & Run on PS2 and is now a big fan of the show).

Would he get the gist of it at his age or maybe something like Junior Monopoly??

Doh! (I know, I know) - just realised that I don't know the age of my own son, he will be 6 3/4.

Someone must have an opinion, even it's just to say they hate the Simpsons!

I've no idea sorry, but will watch this thread as it sounds like a good idea for my 7yr old nephew.

Hmm, we're getting Simpsons Cluedo for ds who will be 7.5 on the day itself. Tbh I would not have thought of getting it for him much younger, because of the deduction element.
If he enjoys sums then Junior or even ordinary Monopoly is good - ds has loved this for a while.
You can get a special edition of Uno with the Simpsons on Jodee - there is even a Simpsons chess which ds has been mad for since a kind person showed him a set he had just bought on a train home one day. That is pricey though.

Hi Marina, I like the sound of the Simpsons Uno, I think ds would get more enjoyment out of that - as I suspect Mr Burns' murder would remain on Chief Wiggum's unsolved crimes list for many a year to come!

Simpsons cluedo would be a bit too hard imo (we have it), but also can get simpsons monopoly.

Simpsons Uno sounds good though.
