Small family car with a big boot - help please!

Ok after years of getting by without a car, we're now looking at getting our first family car. We're in London so don't need anything massive but could really do with lots of boot space. We'll probably use the car out of London more than around town so we're not looking for a 'city car', but then parking is quite tricky near us, so don't want an estate size car either. We looking at used cars and budget is c£3.5k. Has anyone got any recommendations? Thanks Smile

Mil's ford fusion has a good boot and she seems to like it.

Someone recommended a honda civic recently - any thoughts?

I have a Seat Leon. Lovely car and good sized boot. Should be plenty within your budget .

A Honda Jazz also is a smaller car but with a big boot for its size. Depends on how small you want the car to be - magazines, and others can be useful for measurements - or wandering around a showroom to gage what size you want the overall car to be.
