My son is 9 today and he has football stuff, yu gi oh stuff, science experiment type stuff, some books.

Beetroot · 03/10/2006 15:52

he will love cash - i promise!!!

ProfYaffle · 03/10/2006 15:55

What's yu gi oh? Was thinking about football and science theme but slightly afraid of being too nerdy but if your ds thinks it's ok I might go down that route.

My son is ten. He likes Lego, especially Lego technik, Pokemon, computer games - loves war games, Runescape and racing type things (cars), gameboys, Star Wars, DR WHO, science stuff, military history type stuff.

He doesn't like football but many boys do. Also, Yu-gi-oh is popular although my son has abandoned it for Pokemon.

Books are usually safe - but you would have to know what he liked reading.

HTH

Yu-gi-oh is a card game also found on internet, computer games, tv etc. Google it.

My son is here and says he would prefer a present to cash. But I suppose the present has to be right. Cash can always be spent.

Thanks all - will be hitting Toys r Us shortly!
