Not extortionate!!!! With 4 kids at school you have got to be joking. Will stick to Asda

Cappuccino · 02/10/2006 17:44

good god, it's got no teflon on it

TooTickyTheAppleMuncher · 02/10/2006 17:45

Okay, not as extortionate as it could be. The peoplewho grow non-organic cotton really suffer for our low prices, as do the people in sweatshops making the clothes.

geekgrrl · 02/10/2006 17:52

polo shirt £13

TooTickyTheAppleMuncher · 02/10/2006 18:24

Yes, but at least our kids get to go to school - free - and we have minimum wages, dss and laws that prevent us from having to work with hazardous chemicals. Seems unfair to exploit others just so we can have cheap clothes.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 02/10/2006 18:36

yes but for a lot of us £13 for a plain polo shirt, and £19 for a pair of trousers is just unrealistic!

imnot27 · 02/10/2006 20:05

Could look at it as giving £20 donation to charity I suppose, then usual outlay for uniform?
